Can't speak from first hand experience but I own a second hand wilfa Svart and bought a couple of faulty ones to repair to no avail.
In my experience from reading around on coffeeforums.co.uk, rest assured Wilfa will definitely swap it out as your issue is a known problem as far as I gather. Let me know how you get on with their support!
I use my Wilfa for pourover and it's cracking for the money.
I have a Wilfa grinder (less than a year old) that is stopping/starting when grinding, which a quick web search says may be a power supply issue. Has anyone ever managed to create a support account on the Wilfa.no site? (captcha showing nothing, reset password says ‘forbidden’, maybe it’s a trade thing and a shut out for civilians like me)?
Annoying that my ten quid coffee bean blitzer is a better bet than this Wilfa doorstop at the moment…
