  • Was able to find something which is a little different and not a Casio for my Digital fix, also not connected either but does have a few cool features.

The Nixon Regulus Expedition, you do feel it on your wrist but not a heavy weight if that makesense also can have an auto off when not in use and can switch the screen to be Neg or Pos.

  • Only works in total darkness?

  • (Aaron Rodgers seems to be an American Football player)

  • In the window of a shop near the hairdressers.
Quite taken with the jump hour, but reckon it might be priced a little aggressively for me.
If I'm near when it's open I might see if they will budge

  • Nice of them to write Numbered Edition in case you read the number and got confused

  • Ooops

  • Cool to see a Nixon in here:) brings back good teenage memories

  • So enjoying this, bit annoyed it actually measured 10.6mm thick, still wear very slim with NATO.

Should get a Hamilton soon once I find one under £300.

  • Thanks, yeah pretty happy with it, does everything I am wanting (Showing the time) but a little different!

  • TBH it probably helps to have it to make the distinction between a numbered edition and a numbered limited edition where the total number of units is fixed from the start. My FOIS is the same.

There are over 16,000 FOISs though and probably only around 3,000 CK 859s.

  • <3000 was the number I had heard. We got two and the one I sold last week was 1676. It sort flew under most people radar and wasn’t made a huge fuss about, but it is really really lovely and having one that low a number is nice.
I think they will become sought after eventually.

  • Me too.

I was tempted by the old one but this is nicer. Not sure it looks what it costs though.

I would also struggle to actually tell the time with it tbh!

  • its about 10 past 10 (in the pic provided)

  • Thoroughly ruined by the SWISS MADE at the bottom of the dial.

Otherwise, it's kind of cool. Someone else must have made a full-dial moonphase at some point but I can't recall ever seeing one.

Shame it’s CB sized. Not that I would buy one anyway.

  • Some bold targeted advertising from Goldsmiths...

There's no shame in being CB sized

  • But at 40.5mm not sure it is a CB sized watch

  • Just in case we are still posting pics of watches on a friday

  • Out of curiosity, I did some maths.

If you work 37.5 hours per week at National Minimum wage, it would take you around 47 months to pay for that watch. Assuming you had a standard tax code, normal NI and no pension contributions.
100% of your take home going on watch repayments.

So no excuses really, especially with 48 months interest free credit.
You'd have £49.52 left over for any ancillary expenses each month you may incur.

  • And at the end of it you’d have a watch that Nicholas Cage would be proud of :)

    Speaking of novelty watches:
