• Mainly just about checking you have sufficient wiring in place (if your current hob plugs in you're probably out of luck) and then looking at the KW ratings. I spent a while looking at this stuff when I was buying mine and find the detailed specs on the manufacturer sites tend to be pretty informative.

I got this one which is 4 zones of pretty hefty power:

    Performance
    Left Front - Power/Diameter: 2300/3200W/180x210mm
    Left Rear - Power/Diameter: 2300/3200W/180x210mm
    Right Front - Power/Diameter: 2300/3200W/180x210mm
    Right Rear - Power/Diameter: 2300/3200W/180x210mm

or there is something like this where one has more power but some are weaker:

    Performance
    Left Front - Power/Diameter: 2300/3700W/210mm
    Left Rear - Power/Diameter: 1800/2800W/180mm
    Right Front - Power/Diameter: 1400/2500W/145mm
    Right Rear - Power/Diameter: 2300/3200W/170x265mm

  • Ohh, I'm liking the look of the second one, I'll see if Laura is happy with the appearance :). Thanks
