Maybe I'll just keep a frame strapped to the rack at all times for improved rear visibility.

You could also put a saddle on the rear frame and have someone on there checking for idiots in cars!

Might need a few more cable ties.

Trek frame from here and Olsen fork means new gravel bike incoming

2 bikez laying around 'cause I can't decide if I should go all black on either or not. Maybe the red faggin just needs better silver components

That first one is rad! Just needs some different wheels and a bigger rear cog. (And pedals)

It's a weird combo: alu frame and steel fork. Will definitely swap the dropbar for a riser
-
• #131585
I think it was pretty common in that era, the Cannondale track also had a steel fork.

Brought my old Roberts out of retirement for winter commuting duties. I just need to add a front brake and bodge some PDW mudguards.

that's nice. should be easy enough to fit PDWs with their specific tabs for frames with no eyelets-you just need to drill them out a bit to fit on fixed axles 9rather than QR's). I had some fitted on my old Carlton track which had clearances not much larger than this, although I think I had to run 25 tyres maximum

Looks too nice for winter duty!

Thanks. Winter commutes ate through chains, cassettes and brake pads last year. So the old dog is getting a new lease of life.

That's fucking banging
(might want some less delicate tyres for winter commuting though)

They are the 'Control' version so I should be fine :)

I have a Merckx pista, also fat Alu with skinny lugged steel fork. Should build it up again.

Do it!

I should. But no parts and frame looks sorry.
Not really on top of list, but I am thinking about options. -

La classe internationale...

One day this will get the sympathetic restoration it deserves but for now it’s an absolute hoot as a sacrilegious parts bin skidder.

finally put some hoods on the colossi. bar tape job is a bit sloppy so could benefit from a rewrap.

Had some fun repurposing this ratty frame into some kind of retro gravel bike.
With a modded 26" SR Suntour suspension fork.
Rear Campag brake fitted to the front brake bridge. Seemed stiff enough on the first test ride. -

Insane! In the best way.
You painted the fork and stem to match the frame? Very cool.
Just a few tiny niggles with the pomp. Would like slightly more tyre clearance, a slightly better fit and a bigger main triangle to fit my frame bag. I do like the pomp apart from those minor things though so will hold on to it for now, decide which I prefer and move the other one on! I also just like fucking about with bikes tbh.
