  • I understand there are many decapitated people, but people are disputing the decapitated children and rape because they haven’t seen the pictures/videos themselves.

I read this report, which is fucking horrible (no pictures)
    https://abcnews.go.com/amp/International/horror-israeli-authorities-show-footage-hamas-atrocities-reporters-notebook/story?id=104015431

Apparently images, video and evidence of both rape and decapitated children exist, but we’re not shared.

It’s possible that images/videos of both don’t exist, but considering much of the slaughtering was captured on action cameras worn by militants, with the intention of outrage and terror, I find it far fetched that a group of militants happy to record themselves mashing a dying man’s face with their boots on a gopro would draw the line at rape.

  • Thank you for the article and very measured response, it can be easy to forget how fucking brutal this all is when it becomes an abstract discussion point.

    Edit: @infmz too

  • It’s possible that in the reporting of the killings the reports were passed down to leaders and media worded like this:

100s killed, civilians burned and decapitated, babies and children too.

Children and babies killed, but not necessarily decapitated, people immediately focus on the decapitated babies part.
