The opinel I have is not a thin blade like the victorinox (we actually have one of each), but actually going to look in person is prob a good shout anyway.

I prefer this https://www.opinel.com/en/kitchen-knives/paring-knife-n112-natural myself. Note that will need sharpening and is Portuguese ;)

The Opinel looks very similar to the Victorinox with the thin blade so think I'll pass on that and Wusthof looks pretty out of budget.
I seem to remember there's a Nisbets in Soho so may have a look in there (for something admittedly cheaper than the linked one).
