I have a bit of an odd thing about good chargers and battery packs. Anker ftw.
-
• #3479
I mean, yeah.
I'm irresponsible when it comes to charging. Currently on 7% and have no urge to plug it in š -

Some people just want to watch the world burn

Synchronicity
Last weekend we finished the last bag of frozen bolognese from a big batch (I think it was about 8kg)
Had been meaning to ask our farmer neighbour when heād have more beef, but he just messaged me to say beef arrives at 10am tomorrow.

Or Sharon fruit (Israeli version, bad as exposed to carbon dioxide to ripen and remove astringency) or kaki (Japanese version sweet all the time)
@hoefla bred out by using a Japanese variation, you can even eat the skin nower days.
After going off and reading on wiki I learnt that the fruit has different types . There are even still astringent ones, just avoid the ones made in Israel called Sharon fruit.
I remember, when young, only being able to eat the berries ;) when they were very ripe and juicy and not being able to eat the skin as the sweet taste of the inner was lost.

I love how quiet it is after first snowfall of the autumn.
Itās so peaceful, hardly any traffic. -
• #3484
Thatās a good one. Donāt get huge amounts of snow here but love it when we do and everything just slows down or stops.

I fucking loathe them. My wife insists on using those and people have forgotten the long handle sticking out of their mug and knocked the it over by gesticulating over their tea. Itās not like our mugs are super deep.
We even have a few different types of them, and one batch are super shit thin steel that actually bend when squeezing out a fucking tea bag.
They are fine for an ice cream sundae but otherwise seem to create more problems than they solve.

My folks used to have these long spoons that we'd used for tall jars of chutneys. Every time we had an Indian and got out our mango chutney and lime pickle, I'd think to myself "I really must get some of those long spoons".
One evening it occurred to me that you'd probably find them on Ebay so I bought some while eating. The joys of modern life. I've never looked back.
I especially love it for getting yoghurt out of the big Greek yogurt tubs.

Having the same initial for first and last name. As well as being pleasingly alliterative I also know where to find myself on a list no matter if it sorted by first or last name.
Fuck you, Aaron Zuckerburg and Zebedee Aardvark
