  • Where's easy and not mega expensive to get something to eat around Soho?

  • Veggie pret

  • I'm thinking more quick dinner than quick lunch! Not sure a sandwich will cut it.

  • Masala Zone or Maoz would be my go to. Unless the Coach & Horses is still open and still doing vegan food. As beer will be needed

  • Pizza pilgrims?

  • Mildred's and Govinda's are other obvious options.

  • Thanks all!

  • Has anyone been to Kotor or Montenegro generally as a vegan? I went as a teenager and loved it. Flights and accommodation all looked pretty reasonable when I looked a while ago. Obviously don't want to go and be stuck eating bread the whole time though!

  • I cycled through all the Balkan states maybe 4 years ago. From what I can remember, I mainly lived on pasta and crisps.

What I mainly recall about the Montenegrins is what a churlish bunch they were compared to the super-lovely Albanians next door, who are up there with Iranians for friendliest hosts ever.

  • Albania looks amazing as well! I guess an Air BnB or something similar with a kitchen with the option to make your own food isn't a bad bet.

  • Where's good for a casual lunch with a couple of beers around Soho? Needs to cater to vegans and non vegans.

  • Whoops, forgot I asked almost exactly the same thing less than a month ago, will just refer to that.

  • Going out with my wife tonight. Any recommendations for delicious vegetarian/vegan food around Borough?

  • Mallow is incredible

  • Thanks!

  • Yep second Mallow

  • Just had my first trip to purezza, bloody tasty.

  • I really want to finish the last little bit of the black truffle pizza but I think I'll make myself ill.

  • Cook Daily is back (again), new location in Spitalfields.

  • Any recommendations for decent vegan walking boots? My current pair of Inov8 jobbies were great initially but have completely fallen apart after a couple of years of traipsing around the park, not too impressed!

  • Went to Tendril last night and it was excellent. Amazing flavours and top notch presentation. At £39/head for the taster menu with what feels like a fine dining experience this is hard to beat.

I'm not in London very much so might be late to the party, or letting the cat out the bag. Staff were lovely though so make a booking and check it!

  • Less impressive was the White Rabbit vegan pizza my granny sweetly got me. Absolute shite with vegan mozza the consistency of baby mush. Waste of time.

  • I went to Tendril in January. Absolutely incredible! From what I remember, the whole menu was 100% vegan at the time for veganuary (I think it's normally more or less all vegan anyway) and even my step dad, who normally turns his nose up at anything vegan loved it.

  • Had these with yellow stickers on yesterday, the pizza base was not nice, culprit maybe being the gluten free side of things. The ‘cheese’ wasn’t good either, agree in the strange texture. Were also pretty small. Dr Oetker doesn’t have anything to worry about in my opinion.
