Invoice separately for late payment

Unless otherwise specified, that £40 charge is 30 days net like the original invoice, so they have until 01 11 2023 to pay it before accruing interest on the late fee

Only once it's overdue, assuming you treat the late fee like any other line item on the invoice. Obviously we haven't seen the contract, so there are assumptions 🙂
