I've been to ADE a few times, and experienced bed bugs once. I would say book somewhere else, if nowhere in Amsterdam then book in Utrecht (which is lovely) or Haarlem. They're only ~20 mins on trains, so nothing compared to commutes or journeys within London, the trains are reliable and regular and anything is better than bed bugs. Especially on a come down.
