It’s mental. I have away my utterly mint Made in USA Systemsix frameset for £130. I’d spent 10 years trying to find one and never saw one as good and then when I need to sell to move I give the thing away for less than I paid. I mean discs are great sure and I’m certain 28mm tyres are too but all my bikes are rim and 25mm and all ride just like bikes. Guess I’m cheap to keep these days.

On the upside, if you have a weakness for rim brake 'Dales like most of us on this thread there are deals to be had everywhere.
I'd also be all over that bike if it was 3 sizes bigger.

I very nearly re-bought that off of you when I saw it pop up, can’t believe it went so cheap!

Me neither. I was ropeable but I need to thin things out. Gutted really because it was a terrific bike and just as good as I’d remembered !

This one is actually more interesting.
https://www.2dehands.be/v/fietsen-en-brommers/fietsen-racefietsen/m2018263026-cannondale-caad-7-koersfietsCAAD 7 Black lighting, need some love, absolute bargain, looks small though
I'd take it but looks a size too small and actually just bought a CAAD 10 in the colorway like the video above for winter riding. If I show up with an other bike, I'd fear for the mood at home.

thats a lovely build.
I'm keeping an eye out for six13, but that old system6 caught my eye as well

where was that ?
I would take it just for the SRAM...but whole bike is lovely but too small -

Any thoughts on this? My current gravel bike is a nightmare.

A Six13 frame in 56 for sale on Facebook... not mine, but may be of interest to someone? (I'm very tempted!) @Blomokk ?

Did you pull the trigger?

A good friend of mine is selling that.

Ended up just being the BB... so I'm creakless thank god. I got talked into sticking a standard Cannondale one in like a mug but when the bearings go I'll put the wheels back in properly.
I'm absolutely loving the retro builds and bargains everyone's been linking.
On the off chance anyone has any rim brake XL (min 58, 60+realistically) caad frames or similar that'll take guards and 25+ tyres for sale to build up as a commuter I'd be keen...

I did not. Probably need some kind of 1x AXS type thing thinking about it logically.
-
• #16368
I would buy one. I have an alloy topstone and it’s v good.

£2599 with additional set of carbon wheels seems absurdly good value.

If you can ignore the ‘challenging’ aesthetics.

• #16371
It was 5% cheaper yesterday too.

link doesnt work but i think Ive seen it.
top tube was only aluminium so that was a strange six13 - i thiught all have bottom and top in carbon...
trying to not to buy anything until next year...save money for another bike thingy..will see...but so many tempting frames around its just a joke...good i dont have a garage...

Ah I see, so it smashed into the carbon which is supposed to stop it?
Is it the thing in the pic below?
Which frames?
