  • The speed to yellow card the Fijian vs ignoring the Welsh constantly infringing is poor

  • Finally

  • Wales discipline falling apart in a crucial period. Some really sloppy mistakes.

  • How many more time are wales going to get away with this?

  • Undeserved victory if ever there was one. Corey Domachowski is a total clown.

  • Hoo boy - what a finish. Gutted for the beardy man.

  • Should have been more Welsh yellows. Lucky there.

  • That was tense.

  • What a finish. Great game.

  • 3 weeks for Curry (minus tackle school, blah, blah...). Seems pretty standard for an accidental head clash. No argument.

Nothing, not even a citing or review elsewhere is a bit more surprising.

    French 2nd XV looks formidable.

Also World Rugby growing the game by banning anyone they find using clips or pictures on social media is lunacy... "We will protect our minority sport and make it as inaccessible as possible!"

Surely there is a sensible position between upsetting the broadcasters who paid for the rights and a big fuck you to the fans and viewers?

  • Not a good week for hookers...

Marx out for SA - that's a massive loss for them & the bomb squad tactic

And poor Dave Cherry - concussed after slipping down the stairs at the hotel

    Few sherberts involved, maybe?

  • Marx arguably the one player apart from Etzebeth where the quality definitely drops off if they're not playing in the Bok squad. Intriguing they've not called Dweba up yet. Clearly looking to see how Fourie goes there v Romania and whether they pull Pollard in.

Definitely buys them time to consider. But it could be a bit of a false positive if he goes well.

  • Who knows. Not seen those rumours if there are any.

  • Has everyone/anyone seen the rumours supposedly explaining Stuart Hogg's early retirement from international rugby?

  • A couple of things. Nothing substantiated. Tried not to pay any heed to it (so probably haven't got it right), as I don't like the gossip - people can be pretty malicious, obviously.

  • It's pretty salacious, certainly not going to repeat on a public forum, but heard it from a few different sources including a mate very well connected with Scottish rugby (captained the under18s with many of the players recently retired etc)... inclined to believe there is something there.

  • Sounds like it might well be similar then. I wasn’t sure given where I heard it. Sad for some involved.

  • Enjoying Uruguay.

  • Come on Uruguay!

  • Why was that try dissalowed? Not sure I understood the explanation.

  • Uruguay 13 blocked the covering defender.

  • Uruguay player ran the dummy line into the French player and initiated the contact which then prevented him making the subsequent tackle. If I heard correctly he said that if the contact was on his inside shoulder it would have been ok as he wouldn't have blocked his movement as much to allow him drift across in defence (not sure how that's really going to happen with the Uruguay player running an outside to inside line). You definitely see that happen and it never gets pinged.

  • Ah, thanks.

Yes it was the inside / outside bit that confused me.
