damn that is some amazing stuff!
IF you did fancy giving gaming another go you could check out the combat patrol format from wh40k 10th ed. You just buy one box (around 75 pounds from discount web retailers) and have all the model you need to play some games.

Amazing painting.
I’ve heard Kill Team is pretty good if you want to get back in, and is a lot cheaper to get into as you only need a small amount of minis. Same reason I play blood bowl (that and it harks back to when GW had a sense of humour).

I was always a shit painter, but my Tyranid army was undefeated back in the Year 9 40K league (me and 5 of my nerd friends) due to me apparently being the only person who understood tactics. Would quite fancy a game, but not sure I can stomach the cost of accumulating another army. Thanks be to my parents who gave away my entire collection to some kids down the road without consulting me whilst I was at uni.
