I make no apologies, my procrastination must not be hidden behind other windows

That whole "stick a laptop between keyboard and monitors" is proper Pukes On Cock.
I thought that originally, which is why I went for one big monitor (to avoid ALL THE BEZELS) but then I bought a portable Asus Zenscreen for occasional co-working space days and found it really does work below a big monitor.
Still not 100% happy with my setup, the camera is too high on top of the monitor, but not annoying enough that I want to swap out the monitor. If this big monitor crapped out I'd definitely consider replacing it with an ultrawide instead.

I dont suppose anyone has a spare desk mount/ pole for an an ergotron LX arm do they please?
-
• #3287
I'll have a look at work tomorrow. I definitely had a spare desk clamp because I used one of the arms on a piece of industrial equipment and used a different mounting method.
I have a nasty feeling it will have been thrown out but will have a root around and let you know.

I've heard the same (plausible) rumour about the other FAANG companies doing similar. I guess if someone you really want to keep doesn't fancy coming in you can still make "case-by-case" exceptions.

I'm not going back to an office. I'd be looking for another job.

I'm really struggling to be as productive at home recently. Unfortunately childcare pressures mean I haven't been able to go in.
I feel some pressure to go in as my client has mandated 2 or 3 days ITO. But then I realised that there is a good chance it'll apply to me at some point so I should enjoy this flexibility while it lasts.

I'm tempted to just put a pipe clamp on it and be done with it.
The thing under the mug? No, it's a plywood coaster I made
