I’ve only seen ‘The Name of the Rose’ once, late at night on holiday at my gran’s in the 90s. Been very keen to watch it again as I remember it being great, but it’s not on any streaming service, and DVD/Blue Ray are relatively expensive and imports - there must be some UK rights issue.
Anyway, spotted this while idly browsing the listings and can’t wait for it. I must have been to PCC 50 times, but never the upstairs screen before.
Similarly, The Abyss is a movie that’s not easy to see these days. From what I gather Cameron has more or less disowned it. DVDs are more freely and cheaply available but the transfer is astonishingly shit.
