Hey! The canal only goes as far south as the back of the railway station, where it connects to the Thames path.
But since the canal and river broadly run north/ south in Oxford then you can pick it up wherever suits! I live in East Oxford so I generally join at Iffley Lock which is beautiful.
So it depends where you’re going from and to! 😆

The canal towpath is now resurfaced as far north as the A44 and (after connecting to the Thames path at Osney) goes south to the new(ish) bakery Proof in Kennington which is an excellent coffee and pastry stop. Well recommended if you like traffic free pootling!
