Yeah enjoyed that.

Slow Horses though, very very much enjoyed both series (even if the 2nd was a tiny bit lazy in some places). Great casting, can't wait for the 3rd series.

Ragnarok is interesting. Premise is that a big Norwegian lad who is dyslexic and somewhere on the autism spectrum discovers he's the reincarnation of Thor. Spends part of his time puzzled why people can't see that he obviously has the job of defending his town from giants and the rest of the time just puzzled by people. The actor playing his younger brother (clearly the reincarnation of Loki) seems to be having a lot of fun.

It's done quite intelligently, with the giants sometimes trying to thwart him by having him suspended from school and placed under psychiatric supervison (well, he did throw a hammer through the school principal's windscreen) and other times in the old fashioned way with ancient weapons.

Anyone watched the Cav documentary on Netflix yet? Any good?

it's a bit naff but I watched it all. they play very loose and fast with the scale of things so it's quite distracting while you watch

Maid on Netflix is good. Idk if it's the mood I'm in or having kids, but I'm finding the series incredibly anxiety inducing.

Just finished Slow Horses and hoping series 3 will have a plot less stupid than series 2. What can I watch next? Just started the Ipcress File but it seems about as grown up as Doctor Who.

I really wanted to like ipcress file. I normally like a slow meander of a program but this was like wading through treacle.

Blackbird is next on our list, have heard it’s great.
