Sweet protection are pretty good and can often be found on sale. The Rapha ones get a positive review

I have been happy with POC oseus knee and elbow protection.

Neither of these are traits I've found in any kneepads

I have 7idp Sam Hill ones.
They where the nicest with side protection that I tried.
They do not exactly cool your knees though.

What are the forum recommendations for lightweight knee pads? Pedalling comfort and cooling are priority. I'm new to the suspension-world and thinking I should upgrade from my road kit.
