• Any more recommendations for hydration packs to use for long days on road? I've noted @dancing james rec of the Evoc, which sounds quite good.

    It's for my stoker for PBP - he is struggling with getting bottles in and out of the cages so we are going to try a pack.

    1.5 litres = 2 bottles, so about the right size.

  • I bought the evoc hip pack pro because I wanted to be on trend at the trail centre. I just found it wouldn’t stay in place on technical terrain and would start slipping down. I am sure it’d be great on road.

    So I ended up moving to a camelback skyline as it has a low horizontal bladder but also shoulder straps.

    You can have the evoc pack if you wish. I am back from holiday on Monday.

  • The thing I prefer of my osprey over the camelbak is that it has a flat back which sits nice on the back. Ignoring the stupid closer of the camelbak
