Sherry’s Instagram feed was a bit of a rollercoaster ride this morning
-
• #228
What happened?
-
• #229
She spent the whole night walking the parcour near CP3 and was distressed with it.
Nice visualisation:

👉 Epilogue: Taking the gravel shortcut is quicker but not by much

#168 — TJ
interesting route… -
• #231
I wonder if he'd just looked at previous editions and thought "well it worked for them"
-
• #232
He is the one who is in Belgrade? When I saw the dot there I thought he must have scratched.
-
• #233
Unless he is headed straight to the finish.
-
• #234
Maybe he is. From where he is now it is a very long way to the Albanian parcours.
-
• #235
Seems odd though. I mean, if they can ride, why not ride the parcours and get a proper finish.
It's not like they're gonna have a flight to catch - no one would've underestimated their finish time that badly.
Maybe their nav setup is fucked and they've lost the route? They're riding by compass and town names?

Not revealing much on the Insta
-
• #237
He was 3rd at one point, what happened to him?
-
• #238
#197 is doing something odd too - the other side of a whopping great peak to everyone else near the start of 4b
-
• #239
I think it’s the same road alternative that Strasser used earlier?
Now waiting to see whether #168 is turning left or right…
-
• #240
His body gave out, nothing left.
-
• #241
I've just seen the heatmap on follow my challenge. I do like that...
-
• #242
CS: 3864.48 KM
RG: 3529.24 KMRobin has done well to be only 50km/100km away on the road.
-
• #243
Long ol' chunk of finish parcours. Gonna make for some "sprinty" finishes.
-
• #244
and RG having had that issue with the tyres too :(
Also, very sorry that most of the 2023 MIKE HALL BURSARY RIDERS have DNF:
cap 319 Taniya Denysenko DNF approx. 1074 KM
cap 320 Nolan Decreton DNF approx. 1108 KMApparently, only cap 308 Han Lu is on the move with approx. 1198 km and cap 317 Patrick Suuk with approx. 1954 KM.

Yeah, 7% overall 'stopped time' difference in CS favour.
CS probably has another level if it was getting tight, but who knows. Credit to RG. -
• #246
Over 1k is impressive :)
-
• #247
deffo! not saying against it!
-
• #248
supersilly question: how old is CS?
-
• #249
Yeah, I mean they all hit over 1k? Pretty cool when there is a scratch rate of 30%...so far.

He's AI created. No age.
The only dot I'm really watching is out of the race.
Ive met Anatole, nice guy, young and seems very much go as hard as possible and if it works it works and if not no big deal. ALWAYS wears a buff, rain, sun, hot, cold...dunno why.
