  • This. Bazball is the most exciting England cricket has been in my lifetime.

  • It's all fixed. That's why they have so many chats at drinks, lunch, tea and waiting for reviews.

  • Absolute state of the flip flopping on here 😂

  • as was pointed out on TMS chat in the rain, the losing side is then up for criticism of both captaincy and selection yet it’s all down to one rain blighted test.

I still think there’s a lot to take from this series for England, the Bogans are the best team in the world with some of the best batsmen and bowlers yet they have been made to look less than superhuman by a lower ranked team that is very much in transition.
They have significantly underperformed and a win will only paper over the cracks of an aging team.

  • England is Big Daddy, Australia is Giant Haystacks

  • Our inability to knock over the tail has made a huge difference this series and is threatening to take the moral victory away from England.

  • It's much too soon for Broad to retire. How can he find anything better to do? His last over was beyond reproach.

  • Even if we lose this one in the end it's nonsense to say the approach was wrong, the only reason we've been competitive is because of it.

  • Broad you beauty!

  • Did Broad just sink a tinny on the boundary?

  • Broady has done it!

  • Hero

  • What a way to go out

  • The moral victory is ours...

  • I’ll take that.

  • Excellent work. * doffs cap*

  • Signing off with a 6 and a wicket as your last two actions is very on brand.
I can only imagine what that finish would have felt like if it was 2-2.
    Sensational series any way.

  • It was a team effort. #lufgusball

  • that was amazing.

  • Bazball: a competitive draw in England with the Dukes ball.
Can they perform at an Adelaide day/nighter with a Kookaburra?

  • OK, that was pretty goddamn special. What a two days at the Oval!

@ketsbaia - I think you had better eat that hat that you just doffed....

  • Moeen retired too, great day for him to bow out too.

  • Thank you Jimmy, Stuart and Mo. How English cricket has changed over their time.
On to the next generation now (+ Chris Woakes)

  • Well done by all, that was the most entertaining Ashes series I've seen for a long time!
