Deffo a good year for dahlias and butterflies. And runner beans if my glut is anything to go by. Pumpkin is pumping and my neighbour won the scarecrow competition (again) with her new entry ‘Tour De Tring’.

What’s with the harvesting corn early? Is it ready now? Tassels don’t look like they’ve gone brown.

Yeah you’re right, I got a bit keen because we had a BBQ invite today and I wanted the humble brag of bringing my own corn. They postponed because of the rain so I’m a double twat. I’ll still eat it though!
