Was feeling a bit bummed out by lack of time/resources for the plot recently so went down for the last hour of light to lay a few more slabs to edge the path. Lifted a few things for a personal boost. Pumpkin leaves have pretty much died off from mildew so I'll be eating all those soon if this is any good. Can't remember what variety it is. Predictably got marrows, courgette are definitely on their last legs to. Plus side is it should free up some space for the Crown Prince which have finally taken off. Corn still looking piss weak compared to other people's, though they do have small husks.
Gotta say I do consider jacking it in a couple of times a week, but then I get dreaming about warm evenings down there with my son when he's old enough to not just want to run off/trample on plants.
