Hello - rather than start a new thread I thought I'd ask here.
I really fancy a Canyon Roadlite, but because they're obviously mail order it's very difficult to get a look at one in person. I know I can go out to their Experience centre in Surrey but a) its a schlep from north london during the week and b) apparently they dont have any Roadlites on display because they're not high end enough (seems dumb)
How did anyone here buy one? Blind purchase and rely on the returns policy (£50 for box and postage).
Anyone in East london got a Roadlite I could just have a peek at before I bite the bullet?
Thank you!

There are bike fitters who can offer a 'lite' fit/consultation for this if you are unsure
-
• #2932
Oh really? You able to share some more details pls?
The main thing was the ride, fit and finish for me - pretty sure I'm a Small based on their sizing guides
thanks

canyon size guide is shit, roadlite isnt much of an issue but if you get integrated cockpit bike you are basically looking at £300+ more to get the right combo

You never know he might be lucky.

Offer of a beer to anyone in east who can let me perv at their Roadlite at a time of their choosing!

Hello folks, potential cross post with the orient express thread, but has anyone with an older Canyon tried these replacement hylix forks?
They're for the stupid 1 1/4" Across headset thing Canyon did for a bit.
I gather hylix have been around for a while so I'm sure the quality is fine, but it still feels mildly risky to buy third party forks for such a particular headset/steerer situation.

Probably been asked before so apologies - but has anyone found a decent-looking light solution for H36 integrated cockpits? I have the Canyon out front Garmin mount and would love to stick something underneath that's not fugly.
Was looking at dodging it with a bolt under GoPro mount like this but seems finding the right screw size is problematic.
Any bright ideas?

I got a lezyene light 600xl or something and then the go pro adaptor (https://www.merlincycles.com/lezyne-gopro-led-adapter-131486.html). It's not mega elegant but it's ok. You completely unscrew the strap and then screw in the the adaptor, and then side-screw the mount directly into the go-pro three prong thingy. Recharging is a little bit of a faff but it's not my commuter so I don't need to do it that often. Lezyne light of your choice and a £3 mount notbadobamaface.png

Raceware print go pro light mounts, I’ve a exposure Diablo one

• #2943
pretty pricey tho
-
• #2944
I was thinking just the go pro but not the full shebang…!?
-
• #2945
Ah ok! Might be jealousy - there are so many nice mounts / fixing solutions but always seems to be half the price of the thing I'm trying to mount / fix and am always out of money at the last step. Anyway they do good stuff for sure

The price definitely stings but you can get it bespoke like height angle room for charging etc too and then I try convince myself better to buy once.

Anyone selling H31/H11/H36 80/380 or 90/390?
Alternatively - what are people's experience with the headset cap kit to use 2 piece bars?
I thinking the later as they don't really make a 1 piece cockpit which is 36cm width (why would you buy a race bike with anything wider than that?).
Thanks. -

Inflite Sram 1x 'ers, do I need DUB wide or can I run DUB or GXP?
Stock seems to come with Wide, but that might not be one accurate or needed. -
• #2949
My Inflite with mechanical Force1 takes normal pressfit GXP BBs, or at least I'm sure I would have remembered if id needed something unusual when I popped a fresh one in last year
