Cost a bit more than that, but Sour bike frames look nice. Purple Haze I think it’s called

Ah I’m pretty flexible on price, I’ll take a gander cheers

+1 for a Midnight Spesh. Preferred it to my Swiss Cross. Nice with its level top tube. I had Whisky forks on mine and 650b. Rode nice

If the size is right - the Zanconato in the classifieds is a steel steal

That's quite a lot and they are still ashamed to mention the weight.

+1 for the Midnight Special. I have just sold mine, but it was brilliant fun.

All City Gorilla Monsoon? I love mine and a second hand frame shouldn’t be too far out of your budget.

Yeah, I paid 1500 or so for my Resolution which everyone said was expensive. I think it's a great bike though. I now have MTBs so this drop-bar fat tyre thing is less appealing. I got my missus a Bokeh though because she doesn't care what a bike is made of.

Or a Brother Kepler - I had a pink and blue faded v1 with rim brakes. A gravel bike before gravel bikes were invented

The thin ovalized top tube of the Fairlight secan makes that the steel gravel handsome award winner for me

+1 for the brother mehteh, absolutely love mine

This surprises me as nothing about the midnight special would make me suspect it would win vs. swiss cross! How come - did it ride better or was it more versatile / something else?

The Fairlight Secan is a super nice steel gravel frame. I love mine but seems like it is out of budget.
So I am going to put another vote in for a Mehteh. Great frame. The new fade paint job looks beautiful in person but let me also leave this stunner off a build here from @PhotonBelt.

Thats lovely, What's the difference between the 54R and 54T? Geometry looks v close.
Hey folks, I'm looking to pick out a nice steel gravel frame. Theres's allot out there but I'm looking for some help from some steel/gravel connoisseur's. I'm a fixed gear chap with less know how in the world of knobly tires so any advice would be much obliged, cheers.
