Same old, same old. 4th of July is when I get an orthopaedic boot, and should also be able to start standing. Hopefully I will be able to stand at the decks without also relying on crutches by mid July.

So that unreleased Trace I recently posted up thread did get a release, although it is a slightly different version. Still had to grab it.

What an awesome hardcore/jungle crossover track this is. Love the 4x4 beats into a massive darkside breakdown, with those uplifting vocals.

glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. -

Nice one! Glad to hear you liked it!
It's massive to be able to stand, walk around and do simple stuff like help with the kids and carry a cup of tea around. It's just frustrating looking forward. It happened almost 6 weeks ago and really it has flown, but it's going to be another 7 weeks before I can walk any great distance, ride, swim, drive - because I'm in an orthopedic boot. According to hospital treatment protocol, I should only be in the boot for another 4 weeks - so I'm going to be calling the hospital every day to get an earlier appointment. 3 additional weeks in the boot just waiting to be told to get rid of it will do my nut in!

urgh, sounds really irritating.
maybe you can watch this video on jungle techno while your recovery continues
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foRQWwPv2u0
or if you can't be arsed with he's compiled a huge playlist of jungle techno tunes -
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlNuLCZZj8jW20IeAD1MDC-e5XUbLrsds
-e5XUbLrsdsor if you're really bored, you can listen to a track i made a couple of years ago using the same Vivian Lee 'music is so wonderful' sample as sampled in the tune by DJ Vibes that you linked to a few posts ago. (disclaimer - it's not very good 😬)

I really like your tune!
There's some good stuff in that playlist. Some of the tracks I actually have ready to go into my next mix, which is a sort of rave/jungle cross-over affair I've been planning to cross-post to the rave thread on here. Will hopefully get that done in the next couple of weeks :)

If anyone fancies a big pile of late 90s/early 00s jungle & drum and bass I’m looking to move the below on - it’s approx 150 records, a mix of white labels/singles/LPs including a range of V Recordings, Full cycle (lots), Bad Company, Hospital records (high contrast), John B, Matrix & Future Bound, Dilinja/Capone etc… all for a forum donation of whatever you see fit
Collection from Clapton E5

You will love it! Saw it at Southbank Centre. So many classic tunes.

My mate saw it at Boomtown and he reckons it was amazing
That's a good compilation - I especially love 'Dubbing You'.
It would be good if they issued another one with some of the later stuff, like Being With You (big fav) and Beats Track.
