Rye is not very big so I am sure you could get away with leaving the car just off the centre, away from the car parks, say nearer the residential streets off and around Battle road (just north-west of the station) or down by the military canal near the Globe Inn TN31 7NX - basically anywhere away from the central controlled parking area

@hippy I'd much rather train, but it'll be nearly £300 for three us rather than about £25 of petrol in one car and any parking charges.

I don't live in Rye unfortunately. (Or fortunately, not sure what it's like as never been. Could be lovely).
