I feel like almost all of us have the capability to stay well out of the top 10 regardless of whether we use tubes, tubeless, or tubs.

Agreed, but having a heated debate over which method, tread, pressure , gearing is all part of the fun

I'm not as fast as I once was but can occasionally trouble the front of a race out here in the shires. South West regional champion on a singlespeed with inner tubes last year.

@fredtc is probably much faster than I am nowadays, but we haven't raced for a bit.
