Did the product have a failure or did you put a tray directly on the base of the oven?

Not sure, my guess is that the bottom element or insulation below it failed. It’s a properly shit oven. Took forever to heat up. Glad to be rid of it!

Yeah interesting, we have had some failures at work on wall ovens where someone has left a tray on the bottom of the oven cavity (which most ovens tell you not to do) and it can cause them to basically set the bottom of the cabinet on fire.
