Did the same myself oh why did i not fit mountain marathon and just slog it out.

I’m pretty miffed. My last pair did 3700km on all sorts of shitty roads and through a terrible wet Cornish spring before failing on some pretty awful rocky gravel path so baffled why this failed so quickly considering it’s only been used on regular roads

Hello there, what are the options nowadays for tubeless 650b road+ tyres? I’m normally using WTB Horizons but would maybe like a change after two sidewall punctures.

I’ve seen gravelking slick in 650bx48 and schwalbe g-one speed in 50 - any recommendation for either, or something else I might have missed ?

teravail rampart 650x47 has been my audax preference for a while now. i've killed one of the L&S versions really pushing my luck on the SDW, but I was amazed that didn't happen sooner tbh

If it makes you feel any better, the sidewall on my brand new rear tyre ripped when the bike slipped out of my hands entering someone’s house, and the sidewall rubbed their concrete steps.

Didn’t do 800m on them. 🤷‍♂️

I've got a 28mm part-worn set of GP5000s you can have for nothing if you want them - switched them out so I had a new set on for a trip I've got coming up, but definitely some life left. Let me know - I'm in N8.

Can't say it's 'the best' but I've had it pretty good with Peaty's for a little while.

Apparently rated up to 120psi but I wouldn't want to put that to the test!

I normally let it all out and re-inflate at destination. I haven't had any sealant leakage or tyres de-seating.

No holds are pressurised but do get cold.

Tires unseating is my concern

Maybe don't have them at max pressure, but you don't need to have them deflated.

Pulled a fairly large nail out of some newish conti terra trail tyres, they sealed and reinflated fine. They hold pressure ok, can i carry on riding them as normal or am I risking an unfixable tyre failure in the near future. I ride in a fairly remote location and this would be a real pain in the ass. Advice much appreciated.

It's a permanent fix, so long as it's holding air its fine. Make sure you take a spare tube on your rides, which I'm sure you do anyway though.

I got a new bike a while ago with tubeless tyres already installed and now I am reading that
you should top up the sealant every 3 month. Is that only the case when you had punctures and
some of it escaped? Or do you just keep topping up till you have a solid tyre?
