Had my first flood warning via mobile, I live 3 miles from a dilapidated Thames Barrier.. no where near the map sent..

Bitd my father was working on 'the' Richmond development.
It was routine for an infrequent site visitor to 'find' a parking space adjacent to the river. Some of these returned to find their vehicle partly submerged due to just the tidal range of the Thames.
