It's often very good, sometimes ok. I think, from looking at how the pour forms by squinting up at bottomless portafilter, that I have an issue with channeling. But I'm not sure.
It may also be the case that grinding at different speeds with my hand grinder is introducing a variable that I'm largely unaware of.
