It’s known as the CK 859 and it was a bit of a random release last year, not tied to any of the usual collections. Hand wound, dial made from silver. Not a numbered limited edition but numbered in production, like the FOIS. Though I don’t think they can have made many. I think they discontinued it very quickly.

Very nice, size looks perfect. What’s the clasp like?

Beautifully made. Yeah size is a tiny bit on the small side, but it wears nicely. Tried a 35mm (Tissot PRX) but it's too small and off it goes as a present for the lady

Ok, so I’m going to something in the next couple of weeks with a dress code of ‘smart casual’. I’m never quite sure what that means but have interpreted that as ‘beige linen suit, no tie’.

The question for here - what sort of watch would work with that brief?

I think you can wear just about anything with that brief. Personally, I’d go with something on the smaller side and on a leather strap.
