The Crux I was lent was the 'top' model, so I suspect these came as standard on this model.
You know the Specialized Concept shop in Ruislip High Street. Why not drop over and see if they've got one in stock. -

I do know that store. It's where my better half got her Sequoia from. I could head over there, but that would be three days out of the house on the trot and I'm not sure the world is up for that.

Not bad for a whole bike, considering I'd been staring at S-Works stuff for like £8k
But it's covered in SRAM so I'd either have to swap it all out for Di2 or maybe look for a frameset and build it up bit by bit. -

Nobody in Ruislip will recognise you, if I look the other way.

The only colourway for the Aspero is the gold one, I mean olive/ dune

• #27583
Purple is way nicer

Both will do a great job of showing up the 28 allen key droppages in the first day of ownership.
I'd prefer an unpainted version for £painting less money... -

Rondo HVRT, but my frame cracked behind the seat post so not recommending.

No, the Venon

I did order it but it's still awaiting approval from my company so I'm sat staring out the window for the time being

@hippy if you're shelling out that sorta money check for warranty on frame etc and ask how easy it is to actually warranty something with friends in the industry. This might vary country to country but it's one reason I picked the Epic Evo over others ...
Which came in SRAM, so I swapped everything. One and done tho.

Ah, ok. Hope you get it soon!

Righto. Looks like a cheaper version of the Cervelo above.

40mm clearance with an FD but I presume that's with 700C wheels.

Good point. Spesh are pretty good with that kind of thing.
I'm probably better off looking at their crash replacement policies :)

Did I read that right... 1000g for frame and fork weight at medium?
Is that really what things weigh these days? Bloody hell

The S-Works Crux is something like 725g frame. It's feckin' mad. I wonder what my old S-Works Tarmac SL2 frame weighs
"The new frame (SL6) has lost weight over the last generation, now weighing 733g, over 200g lighter than the SL5. An all-new sub-300g fork is designed to be size specific"
"Frame: S-Works Tarmac SL3 (50cm) - 1050g
Fork: S-Works SL3 fork - 380g"
https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142565"Frame: Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL2 52 cm 1010 g
Fork: Specialized S-Works FACT monocoque carbon fork 360 g"
https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50448and mine's a 56cm.

I can now blame my non competitive bikes for the reason I'm a slow arse.

Only uphill

I only ever go up hill
100% uphill
I promise

Try going the other way, you might find it's faster.

in addition to being disgustingly light crux clears a 2.2" 27.5 race king front and rear, has a threaded bb and has a totally standard cockpit. also the tt isn't super sloped so you can fit big ass water bottles and a frame bag in there.

Checkpoint and Crux come to mind, latter is more like a roadie
Nurple.
Which one suits my personality more.
Trick question: they'd only suit my personality with a shitty rattle can matt black paint job over the top.
