I need a 3/4 inch angled brush for metal paint (dulux metalshield) have primed in zinc chromate and the brush I have had been using is mullered after a few hours use and I don’t want to top coat with it.
It’s an Axis one from Brewers, do I really need to spend a small fortune on a Purdy or Harris brush that I’m never going to use again?
Nice brushes are nice. Turps etc is actually surprisingly good at washing out brushes though. Maybe even more effective than water based. Don’t need to chuck the brush really.
Hamilton prestige 3/4" window brush and prestige 15mm round sash are used a lot- these have shorter bristles giving more pushing power, black paint does muller brushes, sometimes a good old shit brush is the only one that can do the job
