Bodged the new step for our deck together and installed it temporarily so I can get on and demolish the larger corner step which is going to interfere with powerline runs to the summerhouse.
was feeling a bit overwhelmed and fed up with the redecorating progress in the house so wanted a quick win that i could just get done.
eventually I'll dig a little deeper and run a path to the back door with gravel or bark chippings or something and line it with some lights.
had fun doing it until i had to hammer in the clout nails for the truss clips. not only was it noisy as fuck thus endearing me to all my new neighbour it probably took about 20 attempts per nail to get the fucker started with the hammer without it pinging off into the grass. that low, with a weird angle of approach and being left handed did not a good combination make.
