All revolutions end up with a temporary government mess. Even if this works, I doubt there won't be infighting among the mercenaries and other interested parties. Hot dog salesman wouldn't hold power for long.
I feel it won't come to that though, Putin might give a few positions to him and his friends and that's that, back to Ukraine.

Personally I’m not keen that mercenaries paid by some lunatic are advancing at the speed of light. Much rather see them fighting a prolonged civil war and eating themselves. If you think that hot dog salesman is an upgrade on Putin than it’s time for a reality check.
