I have resized a GS bracelet at home without a problem. Just make sure your screwdriver isn't blunt and that it can actually get some purchase on the teeny tiny flathead screws.

I've gone from 'Buy a Tissot? Fuck no' to 'TAKE MY MONEY'.

PRX all day long.
Future classic.

True, the bracelet on the PRX is excellent for the money and looks miles better than the one on the Nivada.

This came in the mail today, a mere 4 days after ordering. Slightly tipsy late night purchase and I have to say, a little bit shocked at how good it is. $270 aud, I thought yeah I'll try it on for size and it'll be a good everyday do anything watch. Fits very well, feels good. I do feel a bit conflicted over the whole homage thing but a dive watch is a dive watch ( and all ugly according to my wife) but hey, cheap enough not to worry. Will get a better pic tomorrow.

I know how much you lot have missed seeing this dial… but…
The long and short is that the crown/stem got damaged and the bezel mechanism was fubar on the original case. So it sat in an envelope in a box of bits for a few years now.
Finally caved and found that a new case is the cheapest means to get it on the wrist. Didn’t like the diver cases so went for an explorer instead.
(It’s the Stendardo running ETA 2824-2 inside)

Love that

Saw the PRX range IRL for the first time yesterday. Have to agree, the 40 is too big (think it’s too much metal where the hidden lugs meet the integrated bracelet) and the 35 is too small. Think a 38 would be perfect but seems unlikely.

As homage mash-ups go I really like it. End links and bracelet look great. Did you get the glide lock style clasp?
-
• #72642
As divers go that's not horrific, probably because it shouts Seiko and doesn't scream faulex.
I'm glad I went for an Explorer over a Submariner for the replacement case. The other dive-style case watches I have never get worn. Hopefully yours gets beat up from a good bit of wearing.

39mm Zulu Time GMTs...

Weirdly, I quite like the two-tone one.

The heat must be getting to you, try lying down in a cool room and then have another look.

😂
I've never liked gold watches or gold generally (except white gold). I wonder if it's an age thing. I'm acting like such an old man these days.

I'm not a fan of the Longines stars or 2 Tone in general but to me this watch looks like the Tag Heuer Pro 1000 except not quite as nice. It would totally suit an old man though and I'm approaching that stage of life but maybe we should rage against the dying light.

On a Zulu strap though, right?

Is anyone in the market for an anOrdain? My build slot has come around and Greek debt crisis style personal liquidity issues mean I'm not really in a position to buy one.
Clearly don't want to lose my £350 deposit so if anyone is serious let me know and I'll either transfer the build slot to you if possible, or if not, I'll work with you to order to your specs.

How hard is it to resize a GS bracelet? Do I have to take it to a man or can I do it myself at home? Anyone tried it?
