Oxford Events + Spotted+ local sales

Ah man, would similarly have jumped on this if you said Friday - my quick pub recommendations:

• the perch in binsey - proper country pub within 5 mins ride of oxford town centre, bit swanky now re food but best beer garden in the county
  
• the isis in Iffley - lovely independent pub also by the river
  
• swim in the river near Wolvercote then pint at the Trout (setting for la belle sauvage, Phillip Pullman's book) with the peacocks
  
• the victoria arms in Marston, also on the river, lovely location and you can swim at the end of the pub garden
