Legit! They’re a total pain in the arse to set up, and you really need link-style cable to get the most from them (especially if you use narrow bars). But the power is amazing, they’re very stiff and they feel great.
All of that said, I was lucky enough to get them through work for a project – if I was spending my own cash, and wanted something fancy, I’d probably go DA-R9100.
It’s a great bike. It’s so flexible but descends rapidó. Useless for climbing out of the saddle but so am I!

How about a drive side shot?

I'll be an absolute nark and point you to my full write up on the bike for saucy driveside pics.
@Josh – I actually had a nice old purple Chris King headset on this bike when I first built it. Unfortunately, the lower cup was cracked (I knew this when I bought it) and it finally went after a few rides. Yours is very nice but I'm a £20 Tange Falcon kind of guy haha

I know it has become a running joke, but doesn’t it ride like crap?
-
• #4791
Well yes. But the frame handles like a wet noodle so it's all gravy. 😁

We must have the same garderner

Possibly. We are trying to encourage wilding. *Cough

This is on eBay right now. To me it's hideous, but it's got all the right bits !?

Too many colours/ finish variations. In this instance the garage door should be used as the basis for the colour scheme. It's nice to be able to see some daylight through the crankset though.
NB This is my first *anky comment on LFGSS. I hope it is *anky enough to fit in here.

That crank doesn’t go well with old style steel frames.
Too much black for sure. White tape, silver spacers spokes and headset would look closer to original. -

They need to make a decision about what they’re doing, aesthetically, and they need to work out how to set saddle and stem angle correctly for a photo (they can ride it however they want, of course).
Those wheels are always going to look terrible though, mixing silver and black.
My feeling is that the silver alloy is too dissimilar to the chrome of the forks and frame to ever work, so they’d be better off choosing a black finishing kit, and then either fully silver wheels or fully black.
Negative rise, slammed stem with a level saddle angle and they’d be getting somewhere.

Colnago trying to make every last cent they can off a race they won over 40 years ago.

Yeah. Nago screwed up by chroming the head tube lugs.
Unsavable imo. (Could be mine) 😁

Think the chromed head tube lugs are OK if threaded steerer for quill but agree mistake for ahead for most colour schemes.
Hot has f***
