Really nice work, I love the way the clothes are hanging and the pots look great.
I have just called time on my next effort, it really didn't turn out as good as I wanted.
I am going to go back to learning some more techniques, I am still very green to this and have loads to learn. I am really enjoying how therapeutic it is though.

Same story here. It really is therapeutic, makes me forget time. And I also feel the need for learning more techniques as I feel sometimes limited. On the other hand, I like to study paintings from real artists and try to copy/transfer it to my "problem". Feels very rewarding when a problem gets solved that way.

Hey luci
Really like your stuff and been following on FB for a while.
Any chance you might be doing one of the markets in York any time soon?
Also I think I remember you posting you do linocut tutorials occasionally. I have a 16 year old niece who is keen on learning more about this.
She really likes your style but is mainly doing pen and ink or digital stuff at the moment.
As an example here's something she sketched for me given the vague brief of 'moose skull'

I haven't got anything much to add to this thread, I just wanted to say I stumbled across it a few months ago while browsing the forum and promptly ended up reading though all the way back to page 1.
That week, having never been any good at art I picked up a pencil and a sketchbook for the first time since school and just started having a go.
It really pulled me out of a bit of a rut and am still enjoying it immensely.
Seeing all the varying mediums and skill on here is absolute inspiration, so thank you to all of you for your contributions, I absolutely love it.
