can also vouch for the early 90's karrimors. have had two hot earth KS-60HT rucksacks one bought new ( around 1992 ) lasted till about 2013, bought a 2nd nos of ebay 2013 and it still looks pristine after 10 years regular use today. the first went travelling and was a daily commuting rucksack, pretty much every forum ride i've been on i've had one on my back, from the wettest muddiest epping forest rides to the weekly shop. still use the current one almost daily
also got the hot coolmesh 30 recently as i was hoping to keep the hot earth for best

had a jaguar 65l for about 30 years as well, did 20,000 miles round africa in the early 90's being bashed and abused for 18 months. still going today but i've only used it to carry rubble sacks of horse manure for the last 10 or so years, so just a bit mucky these days but still structutally sound as the day i bought it
