Looking for a decent, cheap hairdressers/barbers either in SW18 or W12 areas. Any suggestions?

Anyone know of a cheap but decent place around Kennington? Been going to Jeff's in Borough which is pretty good but the prices keep on jumping up every time I pop in...

I've been going to Valentinos on Cornwall Rd near Waterloo for years now. The only downside is that one of the Turkish cousins who started working there a while back (the guy in the middle with the white 'fro and beard) is thee most appalling revolting knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing sexist I've ever witnessed. He honestly frighteningly dangerously rapey. *shudder. I fucking loathe him.
I always give him as wide a berth as you can in a small barber shop and wait for the sweet little Kurdish guy on the right hand side or their boss (and uncle) with giant handlebar moustache who operates from the family picture clad back room.
Both of them do great cuts for £14

If anyone's in the W9-W8 area, I'd suggest brbr bullet at the top of Portobello Rd, been going there for about five months now and always come out with a great haircut, two really nice guys which helps as well

Any suggestions round Islington/Haringey?

Bumping this thread for suggestions south east - anything in Brockley / peckham / forest hill or similar areas? Might be willing to pay for somewhere better if it's actually good, never sure if it's worth paying extra for "better" haircuts

KR's barber station on Brockley Rd. There's 4 or 5 guys that work in there, all really good and all really friendly. I think it's £13.
Go early on Saturdays and Sundays though, from about half 10 onwards the wait is at least 45mins if not longer. They don't rush!

I go to chaplins at Crofton Park.
It’s appointment only(ish) £13.
Cut my hair better than when I paid over twice that near Tower Bridge.
So I now go quite often, been a revelation. -

Seconded. Chris is a great guy. He even gave me a mock job interview whilst I was getting my hair cut. And I got the job. What a hero!

He is.
I’ve been going there since I’ve moved here. Almost always with my daughter who was 9 months and is now 2 and a bit. They always make me feel welcome and entertain her. Really top service. -

Ok, thread dredge here so sorry if there's another thread on this i've missed, but I've had pretty long hair that's grown out since 2020 and since then has only ever been trimmed straight across by my wife when it's got too long.
I'm now bored of it, and looking to have a mid-length / shorter cut, but am miles out of the loop with anywhere good and not extortionate to have it done. So, any recommendations? I work near Holborn and live in Hornsey so ideally somewhere at or between one of those two - cheers!

I've had decent cuts by everyone working at Em's Barbershop on Stroud Green Road. I also rate Vitor on Tollington Park.

oh, thank you - I've actually been to Em's but forgotten about it as it's been a while! But good shout, will look at the other one too, ta
Afternoon, haven't found a place in London yet since I got to uni and need my hair cutting today before going off to Paris. Any recommendations for somewhere Camden/Bloomsbury/Fitzrovia way?
