  • That Gazelle's gonna be absolutely fabulous.

  • Last week I finished the Diamant Titanium, the first 2.5 hr ride felt good! I still have to repair the Record brake levers to replace the current ones to have the groupset all matching. Took a few pictures this morning:

  • Nice, never seen a diamant ti, good job.

  • That's lovely, great attention to detail.

  • Very nice! Great job, looks classy

  • thanks!
I took a few photos of our sons balance bike today too after I replaced the black tires for brown wall versions. It's a magnesium frame made by Berg.

  • Woah that's crazy looks amazing

  • Wow that's great! In my mind your last name is Van Schip and that handlebar is 32cm wide.
    Edit: talking about the diamant

  • Stunning machine, looks absolutely magnificent! And that balance bike is more rad than all my bikes combined. ;)

  • Now the road bike is finished I've time to finish some other projects, the 26" Libertas already had a few changes and i'm also working on the peugeot 26 fully.

I should be saving money for a custom disc brake steel race frame because that's the dream

instead I very impulsively bought something last week that does justice to the title of this thread

    bought it for this:

  • For christ sake Jan...this is my favourite bike thread. That thing is gawjus bbz.

  • Wasn't Braun from Rotterdam?

Spijkenisse, I'll take that as a yes. And they still exist!

  • Paint looks amazing on that, proper Bobby dazzler.

  • That paintjob is mental, I don't recall seeing anything like that before. Interesting brand too, they have built quite some gorgeous looking bikes in the past, I should pay their shop a visit...

  • Right! I even think they're one of the bigger custom builders in NL right now?

    @user75204 thanks!

  • That's already on my to do list for while too, might go in a few months

  • Ha and they're not even on Instagram, their customer base must be the polar opposite of mine.

  • A month ago we were on holiday in France for three weeks with a camper van and I brought my gravel bike, which was good. Did a few small trips and took some pictures:

  • Lots of gravel in the northern part of France, definitely wanna go back there!

And the Libertas is ready, my wife likes it but I'm afraid the quality is too low to keep it as a permanent bike..

An inner tube blew right trough these new shiny skin walls. So I decided to try a diy repair, surprisingly it works up until now.

  • Looks great!

  • Good to see. We shall all need to do this after the apocalypse. Did you use tub repair thread?

  • Ha! I've done repairs like this using fishing line, worked well. My stitching wasn't as regular as yours though...
Very cool how what seems to be a fairly budget bike actually looks really good.

  • Your bikes are amazing man, dibs on the Diamant!

  • No just some random reinforced sewing thread and then smeared it with glue

    Thanks @all, much appreciated
