Was at a theme park and did the Ninja Warrior vertical wall.
After one jump I knew I’d had enough, but the chorus of “come on daddy” is very hard to resist.
I heard a pop and, while I could (barely) walk about, I was in a bad way - shock - very pale and felt quite sick.
Anyway, back home now and I’m not going to go to A&E for various reasons. Got it in a compression sock, raised, occasional ice pack. Not much swelling and doesn’t hurt while I’m still.
Any thoughts on a diagnosis? Whatever it is must be some form of hyperextension. As a 41 year old, I’m prepared for this to take on the long side of recovery. FML.
It would be a confident doctor who would make a diagnosis from "it popped". Go and see a doctor, get examined, and have the right imaging requested if necessary.
