Our crocosmias (Lucifer, I think, which although similar is I think bigger than the one in that photo) flower liberally every year and multiply like a weed, with zero attention.
Sunny position, quite poor soil, no real watering to speak of, no feeding, lots of competition from other plants. So if anything it might be a case of treat em mean, keep em keen.
Also, there is loads of this in a border that is yet to show any signs of flowering or becoming more interesting - any ideas what it is?
