  • Succession was so good today. Sad that next week is the last one but can’t wait to see how it plays out.

  • You mean

    how it plays

  • Caught up on citadel. I’m indifferent.

Thought it was terrible. Clunky acting, writing and story telling. How they spent $300m on this is beyond me.

  • I am totally over Succession, just waiting for it to end, a bit like Ozark towards the end.

Mayor of Kingstown on the other hand..... so so soo good!

  • Is this the right thread for old, downloadable TV? Just seen Edge of Darkness from 1985. Awfully good. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edge_of_Darkness It's on the bay

  • Not sure there’s a right thread for posting torrent links. Could cause problems for @Velocio?

I’m sure people know where to find things if they have the name of a show

  • The HBO documentary on Donna Summer is currently available on Sky, great watch.

  • The Bear. I decided to give it another go after bailing after the first 2 episodes.

It improved. To the point where I was thinking actually maybe I've got this wrong. Maybe it is going to be great.

And then it continued. And finished. And was mawkish and clichéd and just so 'American'.

I think what bugged me was how much I heard about its realism. Compare and contrast with Boiling Point - no comparison in my view.

  • Yeah I watched one and it didn't grab me, way too stylised

  • Succession finally fizzled out.

  • I’ve endured the diplomat. I’m really surprised Rufus Sewell would do something so clearly crap

  • Sorry to hear that, I thought it was light hearted fun.

  • Yeah I was hoping for Gerri to emerge from the shadows at the end...

  • I thought the final ep was brilliant. Sad it's over.

  • Succession finally fizzled out.

Yeah I feel the same, but what else could they have done with it I guess.

    I’m left want more Greg!

  • I agree. Sohi has only had negative things to say about this season so I guess it was to be expected.

Greg & Tom spin-off would be ace.

  • I tried my best, watched all the episodes and read the recaps but nothing clicked.

If you want to see what happens to Greg after Tom finally fires him watch the movie Zola.

  • The new Arnie series Fubar is very watchable. It’s fairly predictable, lighthearted fun

  • Lasso finished on a high. Sad it’s over though.

  • She did technically. Tom mentions her name and that he's going to get rid of Frank and Karl.

  • It was kind of set up for a subtle Tom and Gerri gag.

I thought it was a fitting finale. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series but am also pleased they brought it to an end.

  • Once Upon A Time In Northern Ireland on iPlayer is really well put together, no holds barred.

  • Brilliant documentary God's of Tennis started on Bbc2 this evening.
I'm not that big a fan of Tennis but it is very well made.

  • Yeah, was great with David Morrissey also narrating

Reminds me I need to finish Gods of Snooker

  • Tried watching White House Plumbers and lasted about 15 minutes as it made no sense to me at all.

As the narrative is based around Watergate ,It might make more sense or resonate with US viewers.
