Yeah
IP69K though :)

Unlikely that's all it took.

Within 80g of Dura Ace though, and same weight as Red AXS.
Price is silly but it has always been fairly irrelevant for SR. I think it looks great, the hiding of the rear derailleur battery within the housing is great design. Can't wait for the Chorus version.

Fuck me, those derailleurs are even bigger and uglier than axs.
Is new campag actually wireless or is it ‘wireless’ in same way that 12 speed shimano is?
Edit, clicked the link and see it’s proper wireless.

Anyone got any favourite Di2 seatpost battery mounts? PRO seems the obvious choice but I see Ritchey and Zipp also have options.

I got the Richey one as it was in stock. Works well. Well after I had to put up the old post to get the battery out.

If you think that's good, wait 'til you see my batteryless dérailleurs 🙂

Treated myself to the EW-WU111 D-Fly with the idea that Garmin-displayed DI2 battery percentage might help me debug any busted cable issues.
As it stands I pulled the cranks and the FD cable is too short - 200mm and I have to disconnect one end just to connect to the junction B. Also the downtube cable I think is a 1200mm which might have been stressed at the little grommet where it enters the top of the down tube. So I'm going to get a 1400mm cable and give it a bit more slack coming out to the bars.
Another option, is to do the same as my gravel bike which is fuck off that right hand side Di2 port all together and run the cable out the left hand side along with the hydro line and wrap (won't be as neat as the gravel bike - the whole thing is in shrink wrap)

I am surprised how unrefined it looks, almost like prototypes, the lines and seams don't really flow very nicely especially compared to the previous generation.
this looks a lot slicker to me

That cage looks very close to the frame
As with any Italian design, there is nothing wrong with the groupset, it must be the frame that's wrong

As Hippy said, I too had your same thoughts at the beginning. I don't really notice them anymore recently. I ride gloveless as soon as it warmer than 10 degrees, all offroad. They do rip my skin off a bit in the first long rides after winter when the hads come out of the gloves, but after that I don't have issues generally. Still believe Ultegra R8000 are better.
tl;dr: The hoods are specific for those levers and you can't replace them easily, get used to them, they are useless, but there they are. Also, on ultras I am sure you have more hand positions in mind anyway.

I presume there's a thing that will join two Di2 cables? Just thinking about pulling a new one through using the existing one - was just going to tie with sandwich bag twists or elec tape but a joining piece would be neat to own for this.

I agree, bad product design

I have a FSA one which didn't fit in ID of chunky hope carbon seatpost but was neat in the FSA seatpost. I replaced it with foam and tape ... as advised by you as an optimal solution... in this thread. If you want it you can have it for postage/forum donation (providing I can find it)

There a sellers on ebay making 3d printed copies of the Pinarello seatpost holder. I got a couple and they work very well.

• #5718
Ta
Don't think that will fit.
Plugged a D-Fly in to show battery % and stuff for the LOLs.

Yeah, I'm going to swap seatposts and try an M:Part one. If that doesn't work I'll go back to the tried and true foam w/ electrical tape method. My issue with the Mason was I use VCLS post and had a little metal tab hanging the battery off, but it came off and so I just left the battery in the seattube to float around. I suspect that broke FD cable or it might be the downtube cable, which is showing signs of wear where it enters the frame. Both are too short really.

Hit the nail on the head here. The front mech battery cover doesn't fit snugly, and the lever looks squint in the body in the press shots! The three slots from the previous group (and 11-speed) have been mangled and look like a total afterthought.
All seems a really odd play from Campagnolo, they seem adrift and irrelevant in the current market, and I consider myself a big fan. Their aesthetics and desirability peaked at 5-arm 11-speed for me, if I had the £££ I'd be straight to Dura Ace.

Any idea what the FD Di2 rubber cable guide part # is?

8min markI lost mine after pulling the FD cable out
Dunno why I didn't just go to their tech specs first. Idiot.

You're being too hard on yourself, at least you caught the error before I came along to tell you to just fucking google "model number+EV+PDF", as I have with about 9000 people who are clearly even greater idiots than you 🙂

• #5723
I think you'll find I'm less idiot, more "documentor". Then again..
Obviously I know how to UTFS and Google, most of the questions I ask are looking for confirmation, generating discussion for possible alternatives or merely to write shit down my way so I know where to find it later.

Now go answer my BB question in the other thread...

The Kinesis seatpost holds it in with a circlip which is pretty good. But obviously it's 80 quid, not 8 quid for a bung.
Really? Thats all it took? And Shimano could have done this all along?
