The sizing is quite weird. I bought M and L and ended up choosing M (I’m 1,85m approx and about 82kg, take about a 32-34” leg in jeans depending on brand, 33 or 34” waist). In L the waist would have been far too big for me. In M the waist is right but the leg is just about long enough.
Pack size: M can roll up into about the size of a 500ml tinny.

Don't they actually make something like that? Rain legs or some shit? I think I hate those even more than I hate mudguards.
Anyway, to your original point, onlyfans.com/firsthippy :-*

you are an extreme use case that every brand fears
Ha! I'm going to use that as my Insta tagline when I quit my job to become an influencer.

Would actually make sense. Assless waterproofs with an ass saver mudguard, you're covered without the high wear area

I tried on a bunch in Decathlon and ended up with a Women's pair. My normal problem with trousers is they're too tight around my Hoy-esque thighs so I have to size up and then the waist is too big so I need a belt or something.
Also, in the store I thought the womens was good length but they turned out to be too short so maybe I should've grabbed the mens pair after all.I reckon I'll need to try a pair on. There's too much variation really.

But then you lose the other use case, which is the rain pants being your backup trousers when you're back to being a normal person at the end of an event.
Also, quite a lot of the spray/mud flicks forwards from the rear tyre straight into the back of your legs. Plus I can't ride mud for shit and tend to end up on my ass in it at some point...

Have you considered cycle training etc

rain legs are pretty good. If someone like Albion took them on, they could be great.

Ended up getting the Medium, which fits well. Lovely tee, almost seems a shame to ride in it!
In summary for readers, I was on the barrier of large / medium, And the medium fits well.

Ooh those vests look interesting

Great idea and from my experience with Albion products I’m sure it’s been well thought through but worried by the length of it…looks like it could interfere with jersey pockets and would like to see or from @Chopsicle hear more details on if/how the bladder is supported/accessed

I'll be able to tell you in a few days. :-)

Are the All Road jerseys effectively the same as the old short sleeve jerseys?

@Stelfox your wish has been granted - 25% off tops + legs bundles now online.
Mens here and womens here@M4xime @bossman gahh, sorry to hear, thats not good - we can renew/re-apply if helpful?
@hippy Trousers; Focussed on their use (easy on/off over long or multi-day rides) we tried to find the line between packability and a reasonable degree of protection & durability. Features were minimised or stripped out (ie no pockets, minimal waistband construction), and tailored to reduce fabric used.
My large pair packs to around the size of 500ml can (just seen @Sergeant_Pluck used same measure), and comes in at 280grams if thats any use. To trim down weight/bulk, I recently adapted a pair into some shorts, with velcro cinch on outside, that Josh Ibbett might wear on HT550 starting tomorrow*
And yes, sizing has been tricky; with such a relatively small number being produced, we could only have one waist/one leg length, so had to make a call to hit the bell curve of body types and use. I'd like to think ever user will have a spectrum of use, from raintrousers over bibshorts through to walking overtrousers worn over trail trousers, through to winter commuting over jeans. Again, a consideration in trying to make the waist have a wide range of fit and adjustment.
Rear spray, grit ingress, & falling-on-your-arse, hopefully minimised with a durable Cordura seat panel.
@Snoops I've been obsessed with Rainlegs for years. Love the concept, but never tried them. Years back (I think I've got this right) I saw at Eurobike they presented a twin poncho for tandem riding on their stand...
@Bossman @Skant Similar to the trousers, we tried to minimise detail on the vest, and make it as light/packable/versatile as possible, so it could be worn in a broad range of environments, and high enough to sit over jersey pockets - also an on-bike vest doesn't require the same load-stabilising as a trail run vest.
In the end, we figured narrow tape, tied in a bowline would be suitable for all bladder attachments, avoids plastic components, and could have uses beyond.
@Rusty_Nail yes, same product, updated name :)

Felt like pointing out that the equivalent Patagonia trail running vest (which is nice too) is £150, so the Albion one looks to be quite fairly priced!

:-S ....used for fittings; quickly adjustable for different people/positions, and is super stable.... I covered the graphics on the other side with scrap black vinyl. This is a (very welcome) wakeup to do the other side.
