We have a loaf day bed which is great - although only slept on 5-10 times a year but after 3 years ish it still looks brand new.
We also bought a bed from Natural Bed Company as our bedroom is in the loft and they do low beds - I think it was a Pimlico Low in Maple. It’s super well made, strong and actually nice to look at. The 3 month lead time was a bit of a PITA but I just shouldn’t have sold our old bed before reading the lead time!

pics or gtfo etc / do u dlvr 2 cornwall?
But also, thanks everyone- lots of good links and inspo so far. Gotta paint first, then window frames, then fitted wardrobes, so timing of bed order/delivery should work out well.

Oooft, that's great. Just out of interest, how much would that set someone back? Asking in case I somehow become un-skint at any point in the future.

Something like Ercol prices, though that was 2020 and I now have to charge VAT so...

Love the ease by which you can rebuild the USM stuff but FML, living in a house with Autistic women means I am constantly rebuilding the damn stuff as the rooms don’t feel right !!
Todays session will be tearing this down from the bedroom to go back into the dining room as it was 2 years ago..

Anyone else noticed some furniture prices going mad? I wanted a sofa for our basement room that goes out into the garden and was saving up for a Fred rigby 2 seater and the price has gone up by 60% in 2 months

Yes. Yes I have.

A mate is an interior designer - mainly for hospitality. They said prices and supply chains are crazy.
A bog standard restaurant table - one you'd cover - is nown £4oo whereas previously it'd be round the £100 mark. Likewise a shit restaurant / cafe chair is £70 whereas before it'd be a fraction of that.
^don't hold me slavishly to those numbers, they're from memory.

Looks like it has a normal threaded clampy bit so anything with the right diameter would fit

Can anyone help ID this chair? Mid century ladder back brings up several hundred thousand similar but not identical results… cheers in advance!

That website is often quite optimistic with asking prices.

there’s a couple of sets on ebay for a touch cheaper, but they’ve probably benchmarked against pamono..!
holding myself back from starting a rant on ridiculous ebay auction starting prices / when i’m king ebay will mandate 99p start no reserve.
edit: £895 on etsy
Are the Muji beds sized for UK mattresses?
